More Information about the EGB Ride Details
Click on the name of the ride in the table above in which you are interested to see more information about the ride.
Note that all entries must be made on the official EGB entry form for the Team Endurance Event which can be downloaded from this website in either Word of pdf format (see the tabs in the top left-hand corner of the Home Page).
If more help is needed with entering rides then do not hesitate to contact the national organisers of the Team Endurance Event by clicking Contact Us.
The key items of information to look at are:
| Opening Date | Entries for the ride will only be accepted on or after this date. If the date is blank then entries will be accepted at any time. |
| Closing Date | Entries for the ride will only be accepted if postmarked up to and including this date. |
| Late Entries Allowed | These words will appear in green to the right of the page between the Opening and Closing Dates ONLY IF late entries are allowed, but in any case you should contact the Ride Secretary to ensure that late entries are still being accepted. Late entries incur a £5 late entry fee per combination (so for example, the late entry fee for a team of four would be £20, plus the usual entry fee). |
| Ride Secretary | The contact details of the Ride Secretary for the ride (name, address, phone, fax, mobile, email address) will appear under this heading. In some cases this will read “As Above”, which indicates that the contact details are the same as the Organiser. Please post your entry forms for the team or teams to the Ride Secretary with the appropriate payment. |
| Ride Details | Location, map reference and ride description are useful items of additional information to help you select the ride that your team or teams wishes to enter. |
| Classes | Do not worry about the list of classes shown. The Ride Secretary will recognise your entry as a Riding Club team and will enter you for the appropriate class at their ride. |
| Stabling | This item will tell you if stabling is available (that is if your team needs it) and how to book it. |
| Flu Vac? | Some of EGB’s ride venues will require up-to-date Flu Vaccination Certificates (for example, if the ride venue is at a racecourse). If indicated that Flu Vaccination Certificates are required, then it is most important that you enclose clear and legible photocopies for EACH horse in the team(s) being entered, showing all the vaccinations going back to the very first one that was administered. |
| Apply for Schedule? | A “yes” indicates that an application must be made for a hard copy Schedule (usually by SAE) before making an entry. Further details of how to acquire a Schedule may also be given here. |
| Special Instructions | It is most important that you read the "Special Instructions" section for the ride that the team is entering in case there are any special instructions for your entry. In some cases these instructions will include additional charges that are due and payable as part of the entry fee (such as national park capitation fees for example). |
